Designed as a classic flip phone that is an easy to use mobile phone for the elderly, the Star is a fantastic choice of mobile phone for the partially sighted, with a full colour 2” display with large numbers and clear fonts that are easy to read. The Star can also be programmed to speak the number of the button pushed out loud. With loud ringtones, vibration call alerts and loud call volume, and Bluetooth for use in-car and with headsets to boost volume further, the Star is a perfect mobile for the hard of hearing.
With a classic clamshell flip design, the Star is easy to open and comes with an easy to use mobile charging dock – simply insert the phone and plug in to start charging. The Star comes in three colours – grey, red and white – and is sold unlocked, so you can simply insert an existing SIM card from any UK network except Three.

Go to Menu> Settings> Profiles> General> Customise, then go down to the 7th option Keypad and select it, then press Change, then choose the option, then press OK.
While listening to the other person speak. Use the up or down key to increase or decrease volume.
Go to Menu> Settings> Phone Settings> Time and Date, scroll down to option 2 Set Time, select with Left Soft Key, then enter the time using the keypad numbers and then Save. Scroll Down to option 3 Set Date and repeat the same process. In Time and Date Settings you can also select your home city and the format for the time and date
Go to Menu>Settings>Profiles>General then press Left Soft Key for Options, then select Customise, scroll down to Ringtone Volume, press Change, adjust it with Up and Down arrow keys and then Save.
Power On: Press and hold the Red button for 3-5 seconds until you hear the start-up tune. Power Off: Press and hold the Red button for 3-5 seconds until the power-off animation begins.
To access your voicemail from your TTfone, press and hold the 1 button until you see the call connecting. Once the call is connected, follow the prompts. (procedure for other carriers may vary).
